Learning, within reach
Expanding access to learning — from foundational literacy to the technical skills a changing economy asks for — with a bias toward programs that reach people other funding overlooks.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit
Star's End Ventures directs resources to three causes we believe compound: education, animal welfare, and health. Small, careful support — sent where it goes furthest.
Where we give
Expanding access to learning — from foundational literacy to the technical skills a changing economy asks for — with a bias toward programs that reach people other funding overlooks.
Supporting shelters, rescue networks, and humane care — the small, chronically underfunded organizations where a modest grant changes what a year looks like.
Backing preventive care and health literacy in underserved communities, because the cheapest illness to treat is the one that never takes hold.
How we work
Star's End Ventures is deliberately small. We don't run galas, campaigns, or a paid staff. We find effective, under-the-radar organizations working on our three causes and get resources to them with as little friction — and as little overhead — as possible.
We're at the beginning of this work, and we intend to stay modest about it: give carefully, learn from each grant, and let the results speak.
